    Players control Aloy or unlock Varl, Teersa and Erend. The game supports both couch co-op and online co-op.[7] It was built in Unreal Engine 5 and frames the original game’s events in a LEGO-themed setting.[5]

    As of 10 October 2026 Metacritic gave the game a Metascore of 70 based on 99 critic reviews.[4] Critics praised its visual presentation and voice performances. They criticised its repetitive level design, simple mission structure and lack of open-world exploration.[8]

    The tie-in LEGO set
