The 2026 Formula 1 season is the first under a new set of technical rules, and Mercedes has dominated it so far. As of 11 October 2026, Kimi Antonelli leads the drivers’ championship by 89 points from George Russell with six Grands Prix to come after Singapore.[2][5] This page tracks results and standings; the Singapore Grand Prix page covers this weekend in detail.

Standings as of 11 October 2026

These standings are from Formula 1’s official tables after the Singapore Sprint on 10 October, before the Singapore Grand Prix.[1][3]

In the constructors’ championship Mercedes have 561 points, Ferrari 418, McLaren 317, Red Bull Racing 306 and Racing Bulls 94. Audi, a new works team this year, has 19 points. Cadillac, the new 11th team, has none.[3]

    Race winners so far

Of the 16 Grands Prix before Singapore, Antonelli won eight: China, Japan, Miami, Canada, Monaco, Belgium, Italy and Spain. Russell won three: Australia, Austria and Azerbaijan. Norris won two, in Hungary and the Netherlands. Hamilton won at Barcelona-Catalunya, Leclerc at Silverstone and Verstappen at the Bahrain Grand Prix held in Malaysia.[6]

The calendar changed mid-season. On 26 July, F1 and the FIA announced that the Bahrain Grand Prix would be held at Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia on 2-4 October.[7] Verstappen won that race. It was his first win of the season and Red Bull’s first Grand Prix win of 2026.[8]

    The Singapore weekend so far

Singapore hosted its first Sprint, the sixth and final Sprint of 2026.[9] Verstappen won the rain-hit Sprint after Russell crashed out of the lead on the first lap.[10][11] Verstappen then took pole for the Grand Prix ahead of Leclerc and Hamilton.[12] Russell starts last because of a 40-place grid penalty for exceeding his power-unit allocation.[13]

The Singapore Grand Prix result is pending. The race starts at 20:00 local time on 11 October, and we will add the result once Formula 1 publishes it.[4][14]

    What comes next

After Singapore, the season moves to the United States (25 October), Mexico City (1 November), Brazil (8 November), Las Vegas (22 November), Qatar (29 November) and Abu Dhabi.[5] RacingNews365 calculated that 175 points were left after the Singapore Sprint. It also set out a scenario in which Antonelli could clinch the title in Austin.[15][16] For the arguments on both sides, see our title fight analysis.
