    Key facts

The Nitto ATP Finals is the last tournament of the men’s tennis season. It features only the year’s best eight singles players and doubles teams.[1] The 2026 edition runs from 15 to 22 November at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy.[2]

    Format

Players start in a round-robin stage, and each plays three matches for a place in the knockout semi-finals and the final.[1] An undefeated champion earns 1,500 ranking points, more than a Masters 1000 title (1,000) but less than a Grand Slam (2,000).[5]

    Qualification

Players earn places through the PIF ATP Race to Turin, which counts points won during the season. The top seven after the Paris Masters qualify. The eighth place goes to a current-year Grand Slam champion ranked 8th to 20th, or otherwise to the eighth-placed player.[6] How the Race differs from the rankings is explained in How tennis rankings and the Finals race work.

    The 2026 race

Jannik Sinner qualified first, on 10 July 2026, when he reached the Wimbledon final. Alexander Zverev followed on 6 August and Carlos Alcaraz on 16 September.[3] Sinner has not played since winning Wimbledon because of a knee injury, and the ATP lists him as out for the rest of 2026.[4]

Before the Shanghai Masters, Ben Shelton was fourth in the Race and could clinch his place by reaching the fourth round there. Flavio Cobolli, Frances Tiafoe, Arthur Fils, Daniil Medvedev, Novak Djokovic and Alex de Minaur followed.[7][8] Djokovic, a record seven-time Finals champion, climbed to ninth after winning the China Open.[9][10] Live results are in the Asian swing 2026 tracker.

    Turin

The Finals moved to Turin in 2021. In July 2026 the ATP and the Italian federation (FITP) extended the city’s hosting through 2027.[11] The 2025 edition drew a record 229,879 spectators and offered a record $15.5 million in prize money. Sinner won it undefeated and earned $5.07 million.[12] For 2026 the arena’s seating capacity is being raised to more than 13,500.[13]
