The 2026 MLB postseason began on 29 September with the Wild Card Series. By 11 October it had reached the League Championship Series, with one American League spot to be settled by ALDS Game 5.[7][5][4] This page records dated, sourced results. Results for games that had not finished, or that we had not confirmed from an official source, are marked as pending. New to the format? Start with How the MLB postseason works.

League Championship Series and World Series

The NLCS between the Dodgers and Brewers was scheduled to open in Milwaukee at 8 p.m. ET on 11 October. The ALCS was scheduled to open at Tampa Bay on 12 October. A Game 7, if needed, would be played on 19 October (NLCS) or 20 October (ALCS).[5] The ALCS airs on TBS, truTV and HBO Max, and the NLCS on FOX and FS1.[15]

The World Series is scheduled for 23 to 31 October on FOX. Games 1, 2, 6 and 7 are at the pennant winner with the better 2026 record.[6] If the Brewers reach the World Series, their 103 wins would give them home field against any AL opponent.[10][16]

    Predictions, attributed

ContentLora makes no picks and gives no betting advice. On 9 October ESPN reported sportsbook odds that made the Dodgers World Series favourites, followed by the Rays and Brewers.[17] Expert panels leaned the other way: before the postseason, 56% of The Athletic’s experts picked the Brewers to win.[18] World Series 2026 contenders sets out these views side by side.

    Beyond October

MLB’s labor agreement expires at 11:59 p.m. on 1 December 2026, soon after the World Series ends.[19] Commentators expect a lockout if there is no deal.[20] See MLB labor talks 2026.
